It’s the best time of the year, show season is officially underway!

We are so excited to return to Caledon Equestrian Park to kick off another incredible season at Angelstone Events. The first two weeks have already brought amazing competition, unforgettable moments, and a bunch of eager competitors starting off the season strong! Through it all, the dedication of the riders, trainers, grooms, families, sponsors, and the entire Angelstone Events team has never slowed down.

After a long Canadian winter, there is nothing quite like seeing the rings full again, the barns buzzing, and everyone back doing what they love most.

The opening weeks of the season featured exciting competition across both the hunter and jumper rings, with strong entries and competitive classes from morning to evening. From derby days, to Grand Prix competition, riders came out ready for the start of the 2026 season.

Our jumper highlights included exciting Open Welcome and Grand Prix competition, where top combinations challenged impressive tracks and set the tone for what is shaping up to be an incredible summer season. The energy around the jumper ring during the first two weeks reminded everyone why Angelstone Events is such a special place to compete.

Make sure to come out and experience our Super Saturday events! The competition is unlike anything you have seen before, with attractions and entertainment for everyone to enjoy. From world-class show jumping competition to family-friendly activities like face painting and bouncy castles, there is something for all ages — and admission is completely free!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our FREE PASTA Super Saturday and helped support Angelstone Events. We loved seeing so many people out enjoying an amazing day at Caledon Equestrian Park!

The hunter rings also welcomed fantastic entries to start the year, with riders competing in everything from pony hunters, and junior/amateur classics, to derby competition and thoroughbred classes. The first weeks of the season already showcased the depth of talent across all levels, and the competition only continues to grow from here.

One of the best parts of these opening weeks has been seeing both familiar faces and new competitors return to Angelstone Events. Whether it was riders moving up to new heights, horses making season debuts, or first-time competitors stepping into the ring, the first two weeks truly captured the excitement that comes with the beginning of show season.

A huge thank you goes out to all of our sponsors, staff, officials, and exhibitors for helping make the start of the season such a success. We cannot wait to see what the rest of the summer brings as the Angelstone Events season continues!

The Modified Grand Prix Series also kicked off in exciting fashion.
