Over the past few years, the need for a freelance photographer program has become very apparent to Angelstone Events (ASE) as digital platforms and advertising capabilities have drastically increased.

If you are interested in requesting to operate your photography business and use Caledon Equestrian Park, Palgrave & Angelstone Events, Erin to facilitate this or would like to take photographs for anything other than personal use (i.e. if you plan to sell or give your photographs for exhibitor/competitor use) please refer to the presentation below.

Thank you for the consideration and also the opportunity to serve as a backdrop for your creative spirit!

⚠️ If anyone is found entering without media pass purchase, they would be banned from shooting for a period of 12 months.

Please email georgia.ormerod@angelstone.ca with any questions or comments.

Program Overview

Angelstone Events (ASE) requires all photographers that intend to give or sell their photos for exhibitor (competitor, sponsor, vendor, or media outlet) use to apply for a valid freelance photographer pass. This pass is valid for all ASE-owned and operated Equestrian Competitions held at both Caledon Equestrian Park, Palgrave  & Angelstone Events, Erin.

Guidelines

  • Official show photographers will have priority positioning and ring access.

  • Freelance photographers may only photograph private clients. Ring shooting across multiple classes is not permitted, as our Official Photographers have full access to these galleries.

  • Media passes must be visible at all times while on the grounds.

  • Freelance photographers are not permitted inside the ring unless approval has been given by management.

  • Anyone found marketing photos for sale, booking clients, or giving away photos for free without an approved photographer pass will be banned from shooting at the venue for 12 months.

  • Parents wishing to photograph their children are welcome to do so, provided they are not photographing multiple riders. No ring access. Official Photographers have priority access. Please email georgia.ormerod@angelstone.ca to receive a special media pass.

  • Cellphone footage does not require a media pass. Any camera with a detachable lens requires a Media Pass.

  • For all other inquiries related to Media Passes, please contact georgia.ormerod@angelstone.ca
