Updated Hobby Horse Show Rules

Divisions

  • Super Minis: Ages 3–5
  • Small Ponies: Ages 6–9
  • Juniors: Ages 10–14
  • Seniors: Ages 15+

Classes

     Each division gets a Jumper round and a High Jump.
Jumper Class
6–8 jump course. Clean round wins, fastest time breaks ties. One fault per knocked rail. You must hold the reins and “ride” your hobby horse—no carrying it.
High Jump
Start at a base height, then go up in 5–10cm steps. Two tries per height. Highest cleared jump wins.

Important Note

      Please bring your own hobby horse. A limited number will be available on site for those who don’t have one.
Recommended Heights
  • Super Minis: Jumper 20–30cm, High Jump starts at 20cm
  • Small Ponies: Jumper 40cm, High Jump starts at 30cm
  • Juniors: Jumper 50–60cm, High Jump starts at 50cm
  • Seniors: Jumper 70–80cm, High Jump starts at 70cm
Wear comfy clothes and running shoes. Have fun, be safe, and cheer each other on! Ribbons for top placings in each class.
