This past Sunday marked the last day of our Spring Series here at Angelstone. Both the Erin Welcome and the Headwaters Cup proved to be highly successful in all aspect of the horse show. New partnerships were made, new faces were met, and many good times were had. 

The day was also dedicated to Classics, Medals, the Modified Grand Prix, and weekly division championships were also awarded. Angelstone would like to congratulate Sasha Maniaci who earned the championship in the Junior Hunter division aboard Fortunio. Sam Walker and Madison McMullen shared the reserve champion title aboard Broadway and Cassini Boy respectively. The Children’s Pony Champion was awarded to SWS In My Dreams piloted by Ellah Dubeau Kielty. Champion in the Children’s working hunter division was Back Up Plan, ridden by Brooklyn Bartlett. The Small pony division championship was earned by Ava Campbell and her mount Infinity. Alongside Ava were riders Georgina Parish and Kennedy Phoenix who both shared the reserve champion title, having accumulated the same amount of points throughout the week.

Equitation riders were put to the test yesterday as well. In the CET medal, Sam Walker, Leanna Lazzari, and Natalia Heinke were first, second and third respectively. The OHJA Medal was won by Carly Corbett aboard Whistle Jacket.

 Also, we congratulate Sam Walker and Coralisa, winners of the Modified Grand Prix also held on Sunday afternoon. We are immensely proud to have the opportunity to contribute to our young up and coming riders careers here in Ontario and we hope to see many new faces in the near future as we continue to follow the success stories of our homegrown athletes.
