Welcome to the 3rd season of the Canadian Hunter Derby Series

IThe season in the East kicks off with the Dewey McLeod Hunter Derby at Angelstone Spring 1 on Saturday, May 25th. Thanks to our new sponsors BFL Classic EquineTM Insurance, Mannington Equine, and Treecycle Technologies/Equilocks Animal Bedding for sponsoring this memorial class and party in memory of Dewey.

The 2013 Schedule features:

  • Over two dozen events nation-wide w/$200,000 in prize money
  • $10,000 Canadian Hunter Derby East Championship (3’6″) at Angelstone offering double qualifying points towards the Royal
  • Derby Night at the Royal – $50,000 Canadian Hunter Derby Championships

New for 2013:

  • $5,000 Jr/Am 3′ Canadian Hunter Derby East Championship at Angelstone offering double points in determining the East Canadian Hunter Derby 3′ Champion
  • The first Canadian Hunter Derby in the US- St. Louis
