| In 2012 Angelstone introduced a leading trainer award in order to bring recognition to the most successful trainers during our four-week circuit. Trainers were awarded 2 points for a championship in a division and 1 point for a reserve championship. Finishing up the four-week circuit with 25 points, Peter Mulligan claimed the $3000 top prize and Championship Jacket. Coming in a close second place with 23 points was Erynn Ballard who picked up $2000 for her efforts.
The leading trainer award was developed to give added incentive to those trainers who support the entire series of Tournaments.
