Jennifer Mattell and her mount Quister, the fourteen-year-old Selle Francais gelding by Kannan and Owned by Abigail Wexner, bested a field of twenty-three. They were the only pair to leave all the jumps up and within the time allowed from the $5,000 NationWide U25 Round II – 1.40M class on Friday . However, Alex Jamael was not far behind Mattell, clear over the jumps with unfortunately one time fault. Mattell, the 20-year-old from Milton, Ontario is a young up and coming talent who represented Canada at the NAJYRC just last summer, helping her team earn a silver medal. She has also been consistently competing at the Winter Equestrian Festival in the U-25 Division, where she earned top placings, and in fierce company. We are pleased to be a part of rising stars like Mattell, Madigan, Ruziska & Jamaelโ€™s careers, just to name a few, and to support their development by holding our NationWide U-25 classes.
