Congratulations to Erynn Ballard aboard Edison P who topped the $1000 1.35 FEI Speed class this afternoon at the Erin Welcome CSI1*. Ballard managed to stay in the ribbons with her other mount, Extra B, who clenched the 8th spot with an unfortunate rail down despite her quick time to finish. Behind Ballard and Edison P was Carly Campbell Cooper aboard Fiero van Orti in second, Sean Jobin and Zindiloma in third, and Quincy Hayes aboard Calgary 56 who finished fourth for the final clear ride. Congratulations to all on a great first day back at Angelstone Tournaments.
In hunter land, Darcy Hayes and Jeff Rundle went head to head in the Open Performance Hunters with back to back first and second placings in the two over fences today with Rundle and Olivia Irving’s “Davenport” topping the first class, and Dani Baran’s “Say When” clenching first in the second class above Davenport. Irving’s Davenport is heading into day two strong, as he claimed the top placing in the Open Performance hack as well as the first over fences class. Stay tuned for their final results tomorrow, where the close champion and reserve titles will be named.
