Owners Susan and Ariel Grange Claim Top Three in the $33,000 FEI Animo Open Welcome
MAY 24, 2013 – ROCKWOOD, ON – Thursday evening’s $33,000 FEI Animo Open Welcome at Angelstone was a clean sweep for equestrian owners Susan and Ariel Grange, with three of their top horses taking the first, second and third positions in the class.
The competition showcased 23 horses and featured an exhilarating jump-off with ‘Dixson” and ten-time Canadian Olympian, Ian Millar who bested fellow Grange rider, Conor Swail on ‘Game Ready’ and ‘Landsdowne’.
Rounding out the top five was ‘Darling”, ridden by Ainsley Vince, as well as Keean White, aboard ‘Pironella’.
Angelstone’s Phase I Equestrian Competition continues throughout the weekend and will feature many of North America’s best horses and riders, competing on Saturday evening in the Angelstone Stadium in the $50,000 FEI Grand Prix, presented by System Stall Rentals, with an official start time of 6:00 PM. Admission is free to the general public.
