Angelstone Announces Reduced Rates to Attract Jr/Am Riders to the “A” Circuit
APRIL 30, 2013 – ROCKWOOD, ON – Angelstone has garnered a reputation within the show industry of adopting a number of unique approaches to encourage increasing numbers of competitors to participate in the sport of show jumping. In 2013, the company is pleased to announce a reduced rate structure targeted towards beginner and low, child and adult hunter, as well as the 0.9m jumper divisions.
Angelstone President, Keean White explained the company’s stance on reduced costs for competitors: “The future stars of the sport require more time in the ring and an increased level of exposure to new rings and jumps. By reducing entry fees for these key divisions, Angelstone is effectively eliminating barriers that have kept a large number of riders from breaking through into the “A” divisions. We will never be able to match the low costs of showing at the Trillium level; however, we can move to a more comparable level and allow many up-and-coming riders to make the leap to the “A” circuit and compete and gain valuable exposure on our show grounds. We feel strongly that the cost of competing should not limit competitors from attending our shows. The objective is to offer not only the best “A” circuit product, with respect to footing and jumps, but make it accessible to a much wider group of riders from both Canada and the United States.”
