Keean White kept his Angelstone streak rolling Thursday night when he captured the $35,500 BFL Open Welcome riding ‘For Freedom Z’. White has now won six of the nine major events at Angelstone this year!

The first round saw 39 starters and 18 clear, making for an exciting and fast jump-off.

Jeff Brandmaier took the early lead, breaking the timers in 29.8 seconds. Brandmaier’s lead almost held up, until For Freedom Z blazed the track in a time of 28.4, nearly 1.5 seconds faster then Brandmaier. Third in the class went to Scott Keach of Australia.

This week main event, the final of the Kubota Triple Crown, will take place Saturday, September 1st at 8:00 pm. Susan Horn currently holds the lead, with White and Dello Joio hot on her heals heading into the third and final event.

Join us this weekend to celebrate a great season at Angelstone!
