On the EEC field on Friday, birthday boy Kristjan Good lead us off in the Hunter Derby. They pulled off an impressive performance, maintaining the lead throughout the entire class. Good and Stakkato Grande W were the winners, and Californica ridden by Addison McQuaker proved unbeatable in the junior & Amateur Derby.

$5,000 NationWide U25 Summer Final riders were also put to the test yesterday, a field of eleven started over a track designed by Ramin Shafiee. Three riders posted a double clear effort, for Jasmine Wiggins aboard Aberdeen 33 to take home the win. Well done Jasmine!

The Young Horse Championship continued here at Angelstone on Friday as well, where horses aged five, six and seven years old competed for the first round of the championship. The Five-year-old winner was Avonlea, ridden by Hyde Moffatt. Catania 137 bested the field to win the initial round of the six-year-old championships, piloted by Nick Dello Joio. Kelley Robinson rode Lise to top honors in the seven-year-old class. The second and final round of the young horse championship will be held on Sunday, in the main stadium. Best of luck to all riders, owners, and trainers for these finals!

This Saturday is a big day, the third and last phase of the Kubota Triple Crown will be held at 8 PM in the stadium. We are also welcoming all families and kids for our Kids Zone, starting at 6 PM.
