Sponsorship and corporate support continue to be the cornerstone of the development of Canadian athletes. As Canada’s medal pursuits are currently underway at the 2012 Olympic Summer Games, we are reminded of the gracious support by corporate patrons towards the advancement of the sport of Equestrian Show Jumping in Canada.

For Angelstone Tournaments’ 2012 season, we are proud to announce that all show sponsorship packages have been completely sold out.

Keean White, President of Angelstone explained the value of sponsorships to the sport: “It’s amazing to see the tremendous support of the corporations involved in the 2012 event! We owe a huge thank you to our sponsorship director, Elizabeth Rhodes for the countless hours she has spent making this possible. Because of our corporate support, Angelstone is able to offer a premium product, with over $550,000 in prize money at a competitive cost. We are looking forward to shocking everyone when they arrive on August 22nd. The grounds look incredible!”

In an Olympic year, the sport of equestrian show jumping has experienced a significant rise in profile with the record setting 10th Olympic appearance by Perth’s Ian Millar, as well as Eric Lamaze’s defense of his individual Olympic Jumping gold medal after the tragic loss of one of history’s greatest horses, Hickstead. White added, “The Olympic games offer an inroad for the general public to become more familiar with the sport and many of Canada’s top riders, we can expect to see a very high caliber of competition when we open our gates to the public on August 22nd, where admission is always free – offering an outstanding outing for families, couples and groups, many of which will be experiencing the sport (live) for the first time.
