Since the release of our desire to host events for Central West Trillium was made public, the response has been incredible. We have decided to host an open meeting Sunday, August 26th at noon in the Cloud 9 Lounge at Angelstone to discuss the obstacles that are currently restricting us from doing so.

We are hoping this meeting can start an open discussion, and hopefully new ideas as to how we can make this a reality.

As many have followed the Facebook posts, Angelstone has applied through the proper channels the last two years, hoping to host events, but we have hit stonewalls with very little feedback from the board. Hopefully, this meeting can both bring forward new ideas, along with letting members understand the proposals we have submitted in the last few years.

CENTRAL WEST ZONE APPLICATION
ANGELSTONE TOURNAMENTS INC.
Angelstone Tournaments is located at 8720 Wellington RD 50, Rockwood, Ontario.
Established in 2011, Angelstone Tournaments has been running International Show Jumping Tournaments for six seasons. Over our first six seasons, we have run 29 FEI sanctioned 2* and 3* events, attracting riders from around the world.

Over the years, our tournaments have continued to grow and attract more and more competitors. In 2016, our largest event had 906 horses competing at our venue. Our venue consists of three sand competitions rings (which will be used for Trillium events) along with two grass competition rings, five sand warm up rings and one lunging ring. All rings are GCT footing with free drain bases, making weather a non factor.

Our venue has permanent stabling for 750 horses, and parking for up to 5,000 Spectators. We also have washroom facilities, vendor areas, lounges and a restaurant on site.

We feel it is important to host two trillium shows to provide competitors an opportunity to compete at our venue at a lower cost, and make this venue accessible to more competitors.
Our investment into the venue has now exceeded $3.5M, and we continue to improve annually. Every detail of the Angelstone facility exceeds the requirements to host a trillium event. We have full time office staff, Wi-Fi throughout the property, which runs showgroundslive, an online real time app which provides up to date start times, online adds, scratches, checkouts and orders-of-go at the touch of a button.

We are excited to expand our reach to the Central West Zone, and look forward to hosting two events in 2019!
