‘Congratulations to All the Winners!’

Angelstone is pleased to award the venue’s Champion and Reserve Champion honours in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the show ring in 2019.

2019 saw record entries in all of the show rings, with Kristjan Good proving that he is one of the top young trainers in the industry by winning the 2019 Angelstone ‘Leading Trainer’ award.  Erynn Ballard will receive the Runner-Up award and was only 7.84 points behind Good.

The ‘Leading Trainer’ will receive $3,000 in Angelstone credits and the ‘Runner-Up’ will receive $2,000.  The credits can be used for any hospitality options such as VIP tables, Ringside boxes, lounge passes, Cabana Coast sofa or high-tops for next season.  This is Kristjan Good’s first Leading Trainer award of his young career.  The leading trainer award was introduced to provide an added incentive to those trainers who support the entire series of Tournaments at Angelstone.

Kristjan Good will also receive championship awards with ‘Rios Eclipse W’ from the Baby Green Hunter and Low Hunter 2’9″ both divisions, and another championship from the Combined Working division with ‘Salvo RSF’.

Quincy Hayes will win a pair of championships from the Pre-Green High & Low division with ‘Buckingham’ and High-Performance division with ‘California’.

‘Beaverwood’s Halo’ & Kilby Brunner Deforest from the Pony Jumper division and ‘Desert Rain’ & Lauren Schickler from the Jr./Am. 1.0m division, have maintained their champion positions from last year within their respective divisions.

‘Cienna W’ & Carole Minhinnick from the Low Adult Hunter division will receive a championship for the third consecutive year in a row, an incredible feat of consistency in the show ring.

Angelstone would also like to congratulate Torey McLean, who rode ‘Macho Camacho’ in the Small pony division who competed at Angelstone for the first time this year, winning the division championship.

The team at Angelstone would like to congratulate all of our competitors on an incredibly successful season, your hard work and dedication to excellence are commended.
