Ainsley Vince and Frieda win the $33,000
Premier Equipment Open Welcome at Angelstone National Phase I
AUGUST 29, 2013 โ ROCKWOOD, ON – Ainsley Vince and Frieda took home the win in the $33,000 Open Welcome at the Angelstone National Phase I, presented by Premier Equipment, the area’s largest John Deere dealer. With a huge field of 40 competitors, course designer Michel Vaillancourt had the ambitious task of designing a course that was suitably challenging for such a large group of international riders. Ainsley Vince and Freida passed every test on course and managed two clear rounds and the fastest time to secure the win.
Mac Cone was a close second with Amor van de Rostal, entering the jump-off with a blazingly fast time, just fractions of a second behind Vince. Blair Cudmore and Shea had two incredible rounds and ended up with a well-deserved third-place finish.
Vince was thrilled with her horse and noted, “Freida felt very much on her game. She was incredibly rideable in the first round and was perfect in the jump-off.”
Freida has been hugely successful at Angelstone this year, Vince was very proud of her mount and noted, “When she’s on, she’s lightning fast.” Angelstone Tournaments is thrilled to congratulate Ainsley Vince on her well-deserved win. |
