JULY 31, 2015 – ERIN, ON – Katherine Strauss made her first trip to Angelstone this week, and that decision proved to be a good one as she won her first FEI class of her young career!
Of the 26 first round starters, seven managed to jump clean to return for the jump off. Conor Swail started things off with a blazing fast round that looked unbeatable! His lead did not last long though, as Samuel Parot from Chile squeaked by him by 0.1 seconds to grab the lead with some thrilling turns that had the crowd on the edge of their seat! The drama didn’t stop there…
Next in was 16 year old Katherine Strauss and her mount suitably named "All In". The 16 year old started with her foot on the gas and never took it off, squeaking past the veterans to take the top spot in the Thursday evening class!
Thursday evening proved to be an incredible preview of what’s to come Saturday evening as we light up the stadium for the first of four Saturday Night Lights performances in August!
Saturday night will kick off at 8:45PM. For more information please visit www.angelstone.ca
