Hunter Spectacular Week is Approaching at Angelstone, Hunters to take over the Stadium

June 27, 2014 – ROCKWOOD ON – Angelstone’s Hunter Spectacular, a week celebrating Canada’s top Hunter and Equitation competitors, kicks off on July the 9th in Erin, Ontario. The spotlight will once again be focussed squarely on Canada’s phenomenal hunter talent, which will be featured in the Angelstone Stadium, front and centre.

Hunter Spectacular week will also feature Angelstone’s famous $1,500 Hunter Nations Cup class, an incredibly entertaining event for both riders and spectators. Teams of four riders will compete in teams consisting of one pony, one 3’0 rider, one 3’6 rider, and one professional to anchor the team. Competitors have begun forming ‘Nation’ teams to compete in this fun-filled class, which is sure to be one of the highlights of the week.

Teams are encouraged to have fun in this event by dressing up, picking a team theme, ‘blinging out’ their mounts, picking a signature colour, as well implementing a signature style and ride as they compete in front of a packed house.

The 2013 Hunter Nations Cup was such a huge success, it was clear that Angelstone felt compelled to bring the event back as an annual event. Seven teams competed in 2013, but none could best Team ‘Triple C’, led by anchor rider Carly Campbell Cooper; who stole the win from Keean White’s Pink Power Team, with their final horse on course.

Angelstone encourages competitors to begin forming teams early, as this year’s competition will prove to be even bigger than last year. The line has been drawn, the challenge has been set. Are you ready to go head to head with returning Champion Carly Campbell Cooper and team ‘Triple C’? Will she steal the show again? Will we crown a new Champion?
