Get Excited!! Angelstone Tournament’s 2014 Season is almost here!!!

April 9, 2014 – ROCKWOOD, ON – As the 2014 season approaches we would like to take a moment to outline the key events we will be hosting this coming year!!

May 31st – June 1st ~ The Great Pony Challenge

This event is focused on a special week of pony competition! Pony hunters and jumpers will compete in the main stadium, and the inaugural Great Pony Challenge will be held on Sunday! Time to start making your teams of three!

June 4th – 8th ~ The Erin Welcome CSI**

This week is dedicated to promoting the Great City of Erin! Saturday evening will feature the inaugural $40,000 City of Erin Grand Prix, dueling pianos, hunter classics, and the Animo Hunter Derby. This will also be the first qualifying event for the 2014 Eric Lamaze Clinic and the Nationwide AutoWarranty JR/AM Golf Cart Challenge!!

July 9th -13th ~ The Headwaters Cup and Hunter Spectacular CSI**

Competitors will be surprised to see a new layout for this event week. The hunters will take on the main stadium while the jumpers will move to the beautiful grass EEC ring! This week will feature qualifying opportunities for the Lamaze clinic and Nationwide JR/AM Challenge, special hunter Classics, the Animo Hunter Derby, the Hunter Nations Cup, and the $50,000 Headwaters Cup Grand Prix. We will be working with the Hills of the Headwaters this event week to put on some special events on Super Saturday!

August 20th – 24th ~ The Champions CSI***

This week is dedicated to Eric Lamaze, Canada’s 2008 Olympic Gold medalist. Eric will once again host a clinic for the leading JR/AM riders this week. This is expected to be our largest tournament week and will feature the $100,000 Champions Grand Prix at night, under the lights! Get ready! It’s going to be LAMAZING!!

August 27th – 31st ~ The National CSI**

This week has been bulked up, and will also feature a $100,000 Grand Prix, at night under the lights! This week will serve as the final qualifying week for the Nationwide JR/AM series final, the final qualifier for the 2014 Young Horse Championship, and a final week of excitement before the kids head back to school!

September 30th – 5th ~ The International CSI-W

This week is JAM packed with excitement!! The World Cup Qualifier, The Talent Squad Eastern Finals, The $45,000 Young Horse Championships, The CET Medal Finals, The Nationwide JR/AM WIN A GOLF CART FINAL, The $10,000 Animo Hunter Derby Eastern Final, The Hunter Classic Finals AND The Pony Classic Finals… Just to name a few of the special events!! WOW
