Super talent Sam Walker continues his winning ways this week at the International. Coming hot off of a silver medal at Young Riders a few weeks ago, Sam and MarBill Hill Farm’s Coralissa were unbeatable this week taking home the win in both the Open Welcome and the Super Saturday Grand Prix. Keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats, the duo managed to keep all the jumps up and ride out victorious on two occasions this week, for phase two of the Kubota Triple Crown. Watch for this combination next week for the Grand Finale of the Kubota Triple Crown.

Fun Fact: This combination has won three out of four of our ranking classes here at Angelstone this summer, will they hold their winning streak next week and take home the Kubota Triple Crown?!

Speaking of semi-finals, young horses also competed in the Main Stadium yesterday for a semi-final of their own, acting as a qualifier for next weeks young horse final.

Charlotte Jacobs & Jiselle, owned by North Star bested the field of 5-year-olds. Alex Jamael rode his own Incanto Nottumo to the win in the 6-year-olds, while Jennifer Mattell rode M Quality to top honors in the 7-year-olds.

Look out for these promising young horses next week, during our Young Horse Championship Final.
