Lothlorien Young Horse Development Series

The results are in for the Lothlorien Young Horse Development Series, and as we head into two weeks of Angelstone in August we have our early season leaders established.

The series, generously sponsored by Lothlorien, splits young horse talent into three age categories; 5 year olds, 6 year olds, and 7&8 year olds. The three age categories compete in the series for the duration of the season, in order to qualify for the series finale held at the Angelstone International in October supported by sponsors Kingridge and Dutch Masters.

The Lothlorien Young Horse Series was created to encourage owners to purchase and develop younger talent with the end goal of helping them mature to attain success in the ring on the world stage.

The Dutch Masters’ leading rider $2,500 bonus check will be awarded to the first horse to win four qualifiers in any age category. Dutch Masters continues to be a generous supporter of the series, and young horse development in Ontario. The leading rider bonus will be awarded at the Angelstone International Series Finale in October.

With two more opportunities to compete in the series coming up during the Champions week and the National at Angelstone, we look forward to seeing the progression of our phenomenal young horse talent! Stay tuned for updated results after our Champions week competition!
