Entering the jump-off early amongst a strong pack of fourteen returning riders, Elissa Reisman and her speedy mount Citizengaurd Cadjanine Z flew to a clean 40.29 finish to hold the lead above the remaining twelve horses that followed her. David Arcand aboard Hawai Van Paemel rode to the fastest time in the jump-off, finishing with an impressive 38.81. His unfortunate second-last rail after a gutsy turn down the last line cost him the win and landed him respectively in the fifth spot. Hugh Graham aboard Knock Out 3E captured the second spot behind Reisman at 41.68, being one of four who were double clear. Our very own Kevin Crosby piloted Stanley Stone to a close third place, missing Grahamโ€™s time by less than a second at 42.48. Chap L and Carly Campbell-Cooper finished in fourth place, receiving an impressive double-clear score amongst the ten others who picked up unfortunate rails in the jump-off Thursday night.

Reismanโ€™s speedy time to beat at the top of the order made for an exciting second round. The impressive number of competitors who returned with clear rides tested all the stops to try and capture Reismanโ€™s early lead, but could not quite seem to catch her in the end. There was some fantastic riding and incredible style last night, which we hope will set the tone for many more fun Thursday evening classes ahead. We hope you enjoyed the introduction and we will see you Saturday night for the real spectacle!
