The 2012 Angelstone International Show Jumping Tournaments season kicked off with a win for Yann Candele riding Susan Granges “Game Ready”. Candele topped a field of 31 starters and five in the jump-off. Finishing just off the winning time and picking up second place was Ian Millar on Star Power.
Candele and Millar just returned from the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England where Canada finished 5th.
Candele said about his win and the Tournament “It is amazing what the Angelstone team has done this year. This venue is already one of the best venues in all of Canada”.
Following the Open Welcome was the official opening of “Cloud 9 Nightclub”. Over 100 spectators, exhibitors, and sponsors celebrated the grand opening in style!
Saturday evening will feature the $50,000 CSI** Grand Prix presented by Seegmiller followed by a live concert by the Test Icicles. Tables in VIP and Cloud 9 are completely sold out for the evening and management expects over 5,000 spectators. |
