This Tuesday, July 11th, Canadian show-jumping team member and Angelstone Tournaments founder Keean White will hold a day-long clinic on his home property of Angelstone Farm for 8 lucky riders. On Monday, July 3rd, White announced a contest on his Instagram profile whereby a free clinic in the coming week was to be held at his home farm and highly acclaimed horse show in Rockwood, Ontario. White, and his handy ground-trainer Victor Segovia have agreed to hold a FREE contest for 8 riders vying to strengthen their riding ability and of course get the chance to ride with one of Canada’s top up and coming show-jumping riders.

Keean White has taken to Instagram to keep his following for his horse show and his own show-jumping profile up to date and interactive for his followers, which officiated the rules of the contest. The rules to be eligible for a spot in the clinic were to follow Angelstone Tournaments and White’s official Instagram pages, tag other users to raise awareness of the contest, and finally to state the reasons as to why this clinic would be beneficial for you and your house. Winner Emily Wilcox will be bringing her young horse to the clinic and believes she deserves a training lesson from White and Segovia because she has recently transitioned into the jumpers. What better pair than to assist this young rider into the world of show-jumping?

Sarah Warden, another contest winner believes that schooling at Angelstone Tournaments under the supervision of two knowledgeable horsemen would help get her horse familiarized and comfortable with riding off property. Our favourite response was Elizabeth Clark’s entry regarding her belief of the beneficial lessons she has learned from clinics. She believes that riding with more than one professional is a positive influence on one’s riding career. She says she has the propensity to grow a little nervous at higher jumping heights, and believes Canadian team member Keean White could instill that confidence she needs to move up. On behalf of Anglestone Tournaments, we would like to congratulate the 8 finalists, Lisa Marie Gauthier, Sarah Warden, Emily Wilcox, Maddie Valcour, Mary Hayes, Taylor Price, Rachel McNeill and Elizabeth Clark for their entries. We look forward to having you at this fantastic event on the Angelstone grounds this Tuesday.
