The Angelstone Group is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Equestrian Management Group (EMG) to manage the Caledon Equestrian Park. It is a great honour and responsibility for our team to continue the fine legacy of excellence that spans three decades in the town of Caledon.<\/p>\n

The incredible work and countless hours dedicated to our sport by Craig Collins, John Weir and Robert Carey is unparalleled and we look forward to continuing this incredible legacy. The Angelstone Group is excited about the future, and what we can bring to competitors across multiple disciplines with the aim of making equestrian sport more accessible, affordable, and exciting over the next decade.<\/p>\n

Angelstone aims to preserve the individuality of each venue and we will be working to leverage the strengths of both companies for the benefit of our competitors, sponsors, spectators and visitors. We understand the Equestrian Industry in Canada is diverse, and offering something for everyone is our number one priority going forward.<\/p>\n

Over the coming weeks, we will be introducing some innovative new concepts to grow and develop the sport in Canada. These will include:<\/p>\n

1. Silver Series:<\/strong> The addition of Silver \u201cGrassroots\u201d events to make the Park more accessible to all equestrians in the region.<\/p>\n

2. Gold Pass:<\/strong> The introduction of \u201cGold Pass\u201d is an innovative opportunity to make the Gold Events more affordable for all Equestrians, with new options and opportunities our industry has never seen before. One low monthly fee and unlimited access to competitions at both venues.<\/p>\n

3. Winter Series:<\/strong> A winter series will be rolled out in 2022 to offer increased access to Canadians during the colder months of the year. We will be investing into the indoor facility at the Park to create a true \u2018four seasons\u2019 venue.

\n4. Ontario Championship Week:<\/strong> Angelstone has already begun working on growing the end-of-season Ontario Championships. Get ready for something exciting for all divisions in October.
\n
\n5. Major League Show Jumping:<\/strong> Our goal is to bring MLSJ to the Caledon Equestrian Park in 2022, with a return to a level of competition not seen since the Park hosted the Pan Am Games in 2015. Get ready to pack the stands, you’re not going to want to miss this incredible guest experience!<\/p>\n

6. Dressage:<\/strong> Absolutely! Winter too? You bet.<\/p>\n

7. Community Involvement:<\/strong> Over the years, Angelstone has been active in growing our fan base within the local community and introducing equestrian sports to thousands of new fans. Through our programs such as \u201cCommitment to Educate\u201d, \u201cKids Zone\u201d and the \u201cHorseless Horse Show\u201d, Angelstone has aimed to create a stronger linkages with our neighbours in the community. Our continuing aim will be to increase Caledon community engagement at the Park on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We are looking forward to working with the EMG principals, staff and crew as well as the Town of Caledon, to bring new opportunities to the Park while continuing to build on the legacy of excellence they have brought to equestrian sports over the past 30 years.<\/p>\n

2021 will be a year of celebration, as we return back from a long winter of lockdowns and restrictions. We stand ready to welcome the equestrian community back this spring through a safe return to sport at two of Canada’s pre-eminent equestrian destinations. We very much look forward to the opportunity to host a memorable year of equestrian competitions for horse enthusiasts everywhere.<\/p>\n
